Dr. med. Gisbert Schilgen

Senior physician

Dr. med. Gisbert Schilgen completed his university studies at the Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf. He earned his doctorate degree in 2003. Dr. Schilgen began his training as a medical specialist in 2001 at the Eye Clinic of Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf under the supervision of Professor Sundmacher.

The special focal points of his clinical and scientific training encompassed diseases of the cornea, cornea transplants and epibulbar benign and malignant tumors. He continued his professional career in the Outpatient Eye Clinic Düsseldorf-Holthausen in 2005.

Dr. Schilgen has been a physician with us since April 2006 and was appointed senior physician after becoming licensed as a medical specialist.
